Charlie sums up where I am at at too. I hope DeSantis has a long career, minus the backing of Paul Ryan, Karl Rove, and the Bush type of snakes in the legacy GOP.
"The newly released New York Times/Siena Poll should confirm what many of us have suspected for months now: The GOP primary is over.
I like Governor DeSantis and have tremendous respect for him as a man and as a governor. I consider him a friend and I believe he's America’s greatest governor. As such I have refused to get in the mud and attack him. He is a great American and I want him to remain a dominant political player for years/decades to come. But his campaign has failed to gain traction.
Now is the time for conservatives to unite and defeat the Democrats and their machine in 2024.
Yes, Trump will be facing 4-5 indictments. But the American people see through them as the political witch hunt that they are. They recognize that the intel agencies and the federal leviathan has been weaponized to eliminate their number 1 threat.
But, our greatest challenge ahead of 2024 is the $ billions that will be spent on ballot harvesting, negative ads, and lawsuits by a well-funded and motivated left. They will outperform polling in key districts because they are investing resources to get out low-propensity voters who otherwise couldn't be bothered. Will the GOP do the same?
We simply cannot afford to waste $1.5 billion on a pointless massacre of a primary. We will not have enough left over to properly invest in ballot chasing in key states—investments that must be made NOW.
We must unite."

For the good of America, Trump should step down. He's ego won't allow it.
I said prior to 2020 that Trump should have bowed out at the Republican Convention. The left was focused on Trump. I said at the time he could have nominated someone like Nikki Haley. The left would have lost their minds but would have had a harder time attacking her after spending so much time/effort on Trump.

Trump will not win, no matter who the Dems run... We need a viable 3rd party. Maybe RFK can throw a wrench in everything and at least make it interesting.

I really like what RFK is doing, his stance on the 2A needs to be changed. But he's the only one on the left that has any chance of uniting a big part of the country. Didnt Tulsi change her stance on the 2A?
I like Vivek and DeSantis... Curious to see what happens in the debates. But I think those 2 are the best chance the right has a uniting a big part of the country.

For the good of America, Trump should step down. He's ego won't allow it. Not sure why any candidate would drop out with such a large lead in all polling. Plus, I can't see any reason why any conservative would allow leftists to dictate who runs for what positions, within the GOP. You believe election fraud took place in 2020, right? I do too. The Russia hoax was just that. A giant hoax. Then getting impeached for a phone call to Zelensky to dig up instances of Biden fraud, which we all now know, is absolutely true. The lawfare currently being used against Trump over the documents he had (search up the Presidential records act) is absolutely baseless. When all added up, that kind of illegal activity drives Trump to NOT give up and also spurs his supporters on. I think Trump should carry the ball forward and try and keep making progress to dismantle the deep state and to end the wars. His road to the 3rd win (real votes and ballots) is actually possible. That's if the GOP plays the same ground game that the DNC does. Even a CNN data reporter thinks so.

There have been rumors spread on Twitter that Vivek was a WEF pawn/trojan horse. Vivek sued the WEF and won. This is great to see.

I've watched Newsom on Fox before. He's one of the best liars I've ever seen. I see this as a bad move by Desantis camp.
