Curious what you all think of him... He caught my attention around mid-April and I started watching him a bit closer. Seems a more libertarian/America First, maybe more so than Trump... Of course running under the Republican ticket.
Which IMO, the Republican Party was highjacked by Trump to give him a shot against Hillary. And essentially he's changed the party for the better. The Rhino, Republicans of old were career politicians who, some, were/are as corrupt as the career politicians on the left.
Of course Trump gave the MSM all sorts of ammo just by his demeanor. However, I think Vivek can be Trump without the baggage. He may leap DeSantis, he may not. But if Trump makes it through all the BS then through the Primary, would he choose Vivek as his running mate?

Wow, this is how it's done. The GOP and RNC leadership could learn to grow a pair like Vivek. Weird how another outsider has to take the lead to help the legacy GOP course correct.

I’m also filing a separate FOIA request with the DOJ to uncover any similar communications relating to the just-issued Jan 6 Trump indictment. We should demand accountability and transparency.
In U.S. v. Alvarez, the Supreme Court held that political candidates have a First Amendment right to knowingly make inaccurate statements. If you're going to indict a former president and leading presidential candidate, it better not be based on unprecedented legal theory. Further, it's more than a stretch to call something criminal if someone is seeking legal counsel from their own lawyers.
Jack Smith has created a dangerous precedent by criminalizing the behavior of Trump's lawyers who offered him legal advice, labeling them co-conspirators instead. This jeopardizes the future of our legal system. If we fail to admit the truth, Jan 6 will just be a preview of far worse to come. We must reunite this country, but the path forward will not be easy."

And Vivek is calling out the same shit moderate Dems have been calling out for years and they still wont support him! Its almost like they changed into the full on "as long as we're getting some sort of welfare we'll put up with anything" crowd. |

Do all these Republicans calling out Vivek, Haley and Christie in particular, think he ain't getting anywhere in the polls because he isn't liked by the Republican party?
Do they not understand Trump has most of Vivek 's poll votes? Or that the party they once were has changed in a huge way over the last 8 years?

I like Vivek a lot. He is great on his feet. He has the right views on race and being a person of color is in a unique position to push back on a lot of the Anti-Racist and DEI crap. I don't know if he'll be VP or not, but if not he should absolutely be his Press Secretary. I thought Kayleigh McEnany was awesome and she carried the flag better than anyone for Trump. For her sin of supporting DeSantis - Trump has forgotten all she did for him and he's publicly burned her at the stake as per usual to anyone he considers "disloyal."

My take, Vivek was losing many of his voters to Trump in the polls and he knew it. Had Trump not been in the race in Iowa I think Vivek would have gotten 40-45% and that Dosantis would have got the rest of the trump votes. Trump may have actually been worried Vivek was going to take more votes from him in Iowa so he felt the need to verbally go after him. Vivek knew he was a backup to Trump all along but had to establish himself by getting in this race and calling a spade a spade everywhere he went. Backed out at the right time so he doesnt pull any of the support from Trump in NH. |
